Served as local counsel for several related borrowers in connection with $31.46 million loans sold to Fannie Mae financing multi-family residential properties. Successfully obtained private letter rulings from the IRS approving conversion of profitable taxable entities to nontaxable exempt organizations.
Local counsel for purchaser and manager of licensed assisted living facility. Created trademark portfolio protection systems, including clearance and registration of numerous marks, monitoring similar uses by others and taking proactive steps to stop infringing uses.
